VON Volunteer Visiting

Volunteer Visiting – 1 hour once a week

Volunteer visiting is a support program that matches a VON volunteer with a senior or adult with a disability for a weekly chat over the phone or in person to make a difference in someone’s life by helping to alleviate loneliness and make them feel cared for. Must commit to visiting once a week and sending in statistics at the end of each month. Two hours of training required along with a police and vulnerable sector check.
