Hands on Health East: Hiring Physiotherapist Assistant

Hands on Health East is looking to hire a Physiotherapist Assistant at their Multidisciplinary Clinic! *** They are looking for someone with a long-term commitment to work with the team for a minimum of 1+ years. Applicants must be available to work all hours/days (part-time or full-time option):

PART-TIME OPTION:

• Mondays & Wednesdays, 9 AM -6 PM

• Fridays, 9 AM - 4 PM

FULL-TIME OPTION:

• Mondays & Wednesdays, 9 AM - 6 PM

• Tuesdays & Fridays, 9 AM - 4 PM

• Thursday, 1 - 6 PM

Starting wage is $16-$17/hr, depending on experience and will grow with the company. Hands on Health East is open to negotiating depending on experience. They offer a great working team environment and the opportunity to work alongside a physiotherapist, chiropractor, and massage therapist.

Requirements & Previous Experience

Previous experience working with a physiotherapist is an asset but not needed to apply. Hands on Health East is looking for someone who has knowledge in stretching and exercises. All duties will be under the supervision of the physiotherapist.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assisting the physiotherapist with client care (Ultrasound, IFC, Tens, heat/cold, performing exercises with the patients)

• Disinfecting and cleaning

• Filing and charting

• Welcoming patients to the office

***Must have experience with stretches and exercises and feel confident and comfortable with showing them to patients (under the supervision of the physiotherapist)***
